Education Opportunities

We'd love to welcome your school, community group, organization, or business to The Specialty Crop! Come explore our five-acre farm, get your hands dirty, and learn a little about where our food comes from.

What to Expect
Depending on the season, visits may include:

  • Sustainable and regenerative farming

  • Gardening, planting, and harvesting

  • Farm animals and animal care

  • Outdoor education and nature exploration

  • Hands-on farm projects

Plan Your Visit
We offer flexible, hands-on experiences tailored to your group's interests and the season. Complete our Group Visit Interest Form or contact us to get started. We recommend booking at least four weeks ahead.

A Few Things to Know: We're a working farm! Dress for the weather, wear sturdy shoes, and come ready to explore.

Suggested Group Donation: $100 for groups of up to 25 people helps cover staffing, supplies, and program costs. If that's not feasible, please come anyway. Everyone is welcome!

    Community Groups

    Whether your group is 4-H, scouts, FFA, garden club, environmental, local food co-op, church or faith based, senior citizen, cultural, culinary, migrant or immigrant support, therapeutic, yoga or wellness, community service, photography or art club, hiking or outdoor, or a parent-child group, we welcome you to the farm.

    The heart of The Specialty Crop Collaborative is education. We happily welcome school groups including schools, field trips, homeschool groups, school clubs and organizations, and staff gatherings.
